Scottish skipper Kari Anderson’s unbeaten 86 off 132, well supported by Kathryn White’s 39 runs from 88 balls, helped http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Scotland-c756 Women set the target of 161 runs in their allotted 50 overs. After Bascombe’s dismissal, Leigh Kasperek came to the crease to join skipper Anderson, but after testing five balls, she was sent back to the pavilion without opening her account. Kasperek spooned an easy catch to McCarthy on a fine delivery of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Richardson-c85395, leaving Scotland 31 for 3 at the board. A flurry of boundaries from the duo eased the nerves of Scotland Women. Both the partners shared a partnership of 103 runs for the fourth wicket stand with the bulk coming from the skipper Kari Anderson.
