dont you think it is really sad how you look at the bit about womens football and there was only ONE question... and that question was about wheter women should play!

people say they have there own league but it doesnt compare to what men footballers get.

for example: when englands women made it to the world cup that wasnt in the paper. when its transfer season for the womens league that isnt in the paper. when we want results of matches we have to search for it for ages until you find womens. PLUS.. womens pay. they have to have extra jobs even when they are in the top league just so they can survive!

so my question is

DONT WOMEN FOOTBALLERS DESERVE MORE THEN THEY GET?

thanx in advance and please dont give me stick because this is a debatable question!

  1. i don't know any women foot ball players but it  is something that i would like my granddaughters to be into.women's footie is the way to go

  2. woman's football is just another debate on woman havin equality.

    but their are S**t

  3. The problem is not whether they are deserving or not... there just isn't the same demand/popularity for women's football. It's like working a job that isn't in high demand, you are naturally going to get payed less. The only way to resolve this issue of unbalanced compensation is if you allow women to join the men's professional leagues and sadly I don't see this happening. It's tough for women who want to play basketball and soccer, but golf is where the money is at. Coincidentally they can play against the men.

  4. women footballers would get the same as men if they attracted the same crowds or sponsorship deals. it's all about the money. why not create their own sites where latest scores and news are available. i absolutley love my footie but the womens game just leave's me cold, not having a dig, just an honest opinion.

  5. I agree with you 100%. Personally, i used to think women's football was c**p, but after I watch the world cup last year, i realized that there was actually some skill. Ok, i might have watched to perve on the hot chicks, but then i saw Brazil play and the was 'Joga Bonito'. I think that it is unfair about the lack of publicity, but in australia, the governing body is starting to care about it now. Unfortunately, money makes the world go round, that is why we watch boring matches 4 times a week, just because it involves a megastar.

  6. i agree with what you say, because if a mens club ever wins the quad, it'll be all across the sports pages, but when arsenal ladies did it 2 seasons ago, their was next to nothing, the last two womens fa cup finals have attracted attendances of 24000 plus, and although it's shown on bbc, when it comes to the papers, theirs hardly any mention about it, and other than the top flight clubs, most of them are part time, could you imagine what ronaldo, lampard, gerrard etc would be like if they had to do a 9 to 5 job as well to support their families, so when will they finally get the credit they deserve

  7. Not many people care for women`s football, they are not that good.

Sure, they deserve everything you said, but you can`t force people to watch it if they don`t want to.

  8. women's football does not attract the same gates because their is no gouging;kicking;spitting;cheating;and diving ie ronaldo and other foreign players and long may it stay that way. I watch my granddaughter every week and enjoy it for it;s sportsmanship she plays against boys of her own age and they get upset when she shows them up and their fathers go hairless poor things
