  2. It was in the early 1920&#039;s. Ibelieve it was 1922, but am not absolutely sure.

  4. In the USA, the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote was passed in 1920.  However, a number of US states had already given women the right to vote, starting with Wyoming in 1869.

    In the UK, women over 30 got the vote in 1918, women over 21 got it in 1928.

    In France, women got the vote in 1947.

    Western Australia gave women the vote in 1894, Southern Australia gave them the vote in 1899.
