Won't message me directly?

Question

Someone who used to be an internet friend that I chatted with regularly will only initiate direct contact with me on message boards.

She will only sometimes answer if I send her a message. Sometimes we chat. But she will never send me a message voluntarily on messenger. But answers almost everything I write on message boards.

she may not want to be bothered personally except on message boards.  be glad she didn't ignore you.  if you are truly friends, ask her instead of us.  you will get the correct answer there instead of us guessing.

i am just giving u an idea..

perhaps the relationship went sour.. and she failed to inform you...

she has either moved on.. or doesn't want to chat on a regular bases any more..  it's like the old saying...goes..  

She just wants to be friends.. not! more like just acquaintances..

if and when u get her on line.. just pleasantly ask her.. why it is she will not give u her email address or IM...?

when relationships end... without closures or reason  .. it is puzzling...  

    something about u.. she failed to tell u .. she doesn't like, or agree with, and just            decided to leave it at that.. !!! U need to do the same..
