Won't record from tivo to a dvd?

Question

i have a dvd/vcr player and recorder. i would like to transfer things that i have saved on my tivo on to a dvd. however, when i play the show on my tv screen that i have on tivo what records is live tv, not the show on the screen. if you understand what i'm saying can you please hellp so it'll record my tivoed shows, not live tv. thanks

you need to have the dvd recorder in between thw tv and the tivo.

The connections that run from the output of the tvo need to pass through the dvd recorder, and then run a connection from the output of the dvd recorder to your tv. then, you need to start the program you have recorded on your tivo at the same time you start recording the dvd.
