Look how lucky you are. Sitting in your AC/heated room with an internet connection and a television and a family and enough food to eat for dinner.

I look at my self everyday and thank my lucky star's that I am so happy,and have all thee nice thing's.....also I look at the mirror and say to my self that somebody love's you girl,and I really do like my ***...ha.ha.ha.good one...thanks...

I take a good hard look at myself everyday. And thank whatever forces of nature allow me to do what I do. I work 3 Jobs, volunteer to the scouting program for 6 yrs and running. Am a loving and dedicated wife and mom with a wonderful son and husband who appreciates life just as much as I do. Above all knows that you only get what you want by working your butt off for it. I donate, freecycle, volunteer and give friends and family the ear they need. It is those who don't care that you need to worry about. Maybe you need to re-evaluate yourself.

I don't understand what your point is. First off all, you just posted your question so I think you have internet connection. So I guess I have all of that, but does that make me a bad person? I think not. That makes me lucky, I was born into a somewhat decent family and I think God for giving me my life everyday. But I also work hard, I have a job, I'm involved in numerous organizations, and I give back to my community. I am 16 and although I may be a little spoiled, I may get a lot of things other people don't, I'm not going to feel bad about it because this is where God wanted me to be, so this is where I am.

i'm sorry but just surviving......just getting by......is NOT enough. this is suppose to be the greatest country in the world. yet i am barely getting by. while I am greatful for the things I have, it is certainly not cause for celebration.

I will admit I AM lucky to be sitting inside my own home, with a TV and internet connection and food on the table.  I am so terribly grateful for all of it.  I have nothing special or fancy but still try to help those even less fortunate than me - how about you?
