Won an item on eBay but it's now disappeared?

I recently won and paid for an item from eBay, when I looked back on my account my won item has disappeared from my won items section and it's like it's not been acknowledged at the fact I won it. I don't know where it's gone and therefore can not contact the seller or see what's going on with it. Does anyone know what might of happened? Thanks =]

Its possible whoever ran the contest rescinded the prize. It may be legal but its not right.
