  1. Just a little impatient but that's okay. We (the TTC crew :)) know how it is. I would wait until at least Aug. 31 and take one of those early detection pregnancy test.

    Which you luck girl.

  2. Honestly I am in the same boat I have mild cramping and my period is due Sept 4th I ovulated About Aug18-19. Really wait till the day of your period if you don't get it then then do the HPT test otherwise you will waste your money your could cal your family Dr. and ask for a blood test be weeks end ...Good luck...

  3. According to my fertility specialist, a blood test isn't 100 percent accurate until 14 days past ovulation.  So if you ovulated on august 23, count 14 days from that and that's when you can take a blod test and be VERY SURE of the resutls.

I am wondering how you are pinpointing when you ovulate?  You seem a bit confused on ovulation. No human ovulates for six days, it just doesn't work like that. Ovulation is when your body releases an egg, and it only lives for anywhere from 6 hours to 24 hours at the very longest from the moment it is released. After that time, the egg can no longer be fertilized.

So it might help your TTC efforts if you could figure out when you ovulate. The best way to do this is to do fertility charting. Fertilityfriend.com explains how to do it in their free online course or their free tutorial.  You just use a digital basal body thermometer and take your temperature every morning before you get out of bed.  You will know the exact day you ovulate this way, and wheher or not your intercourse is well timed.

Also, there should be a minimum of 12 days from the time you ovualte until your period comes.  14 to 16 days is considered ideal.  If there is not at least 12 days then you usually cannot get pregnant, and you would need to see a doctor for progesterone.

Good luck and baby dust! Hope this helps!!!

I hope this is your month to get that BFP!!!
