Wondering About my Acura TL

so i mentioned before that i had 170k miles on it before, and i just had the transmission rebuilt (i had problems with it switching gears), how long do you guys think the car will run? i heard rebuilt ones are just as good as new ones

  1. If you drove on the original engine for 170,000 miles, then your newly rebuilt one should last you another 170,000 miles (totaling up to 340,000). On a side note, transmission replacement in very common on 2nd generation TL's.

    Just don't beat the c**p out of the TL and stay on the maintenance schedule! Properly maintained Asian cars will last a lifetime, my 1999 Infiniti I30t has 150,000 miles and counting with battery replacement, tires, etc.
