Wondering is Biotin safe during pregnancy?

Was wondering if Biotin is safe to take durring pregnancy? Have not had a chance to ask my DR. yet, so I was just trying to get feed back on here. I am not yet pregnant, but am TTC. I take the biotin to help of set the hair loss I experince thanks to PCOS. Any info would be helpful.

  1. Biotin is a vitamin- B7. It should be perfectly fine to take and is used for hair and nails. Of course, check with your doctor just in case.

    If you're TTC and are having trouble + hair loss, that could be an indication of anemia or low ferritin. If you haven't ruled this out, get blood tests.


  2. honey, I don't know what all your abbreviations are, but you don't take drugs when you are pregnant, not even aspirin.  having a healthy baby is all that matters.  I hope you have the good sense to be married!
