Wonderlic test.. how much do employers rely on them?

Question

i took it for northwest, obviously i did not finish it. i would really be crushed if i aced all the interviews but did not pass just because of the test! help someone enlighten me about the purpose of this test! i want the job badly..

the serve there purpose and the companies that use them put a lot of stock in them!!!  of course the purpose is to weed out some folks so they do not have to waste time interviewing them!!!
