Actually it would end it, along with all our other unnecessary military adventures.  If we keep spending money like this, and printing it when we run out, our foreign empire will come crashing to the ground.  That won't be a fun day.  Empires always end when they are spread too thin.  We have almost 600,000 troops in 130 countries, and the dollar is slipping toward the deep end.  Basically, put your head between your knees if anyone who gets elected to the oval office wants to increase government spending.

Jeffrey that's dumb because if you have listened to the democrats they want to pull out of Iraq but they also want to raise taxes and give to the young and old but that kills the middle men which is what our country is truly made of. If we raise the taxes again it'll just drain the economy more and the government will want to spend more and give more away.

We need to finish what we've started, I say work on a better plan to fix the problems because if we pull out and ignore it it will grow and if we try to cover it up it's going to be like turning an ant hill into a mountain it will also show that America has no spine which is the exact opposite message we need to be sending to other countries and especially terrorists. If we pull out in January of next year we all need to kiss our ___ goodbye because America will be down the drain. What's also killing our economy is foreign spending, think about it you see all the made in china stamps on a large majority of the things we buy and foreign cars are also damaging us, if we spend all our money in foreign countries it's going to obviously cut it out of our pockets and with that and the price of gas we're still sinking... we need to turn it around soon.

The Democrats control both houses of congress, and that gives them by far the most power and authority in Washington.

That is why it is so ironic that the war has continued!

The idea that many Liberals have is that we can ignore what's going on or that we can throw money at the problem and it will go away (actually, they do that with every problem).

The problem with that system is that it never really works. If we pull out of Iraq now, we'll be back in a few years, and the problems will have gotten worse.
