Wont read dvd movies

Question

Hi I have a sony vaio pcg f490 running win xp pro.the only problem i am having is that my dvd rom wont read dvd's had itworking b4 dont remember what i did to make it work last time. the dvd drive is a toshiba sd c2202.when i put in a dvd it tells me wrong format or corrupted disk i know this is B.S.!! any help would be gr8 thanks Chris - [e-mail]
