Wont sign the divorce papers?

my wife wont sign the divorce papers. Iv now got a baliff to serve them upon her. What happens if they cant get hold of her? or she still wont sign. There are no children, and she has the house and furniture. I live in wales

I have been through divorce myself once with children involved and once in your case without. If you have no children and she will not sign them you have to wait two years before you can divorce unless one or the other admits adultery. It matters not if it is the truth or not but one thing it does do is speed the process up.

cant you ask your solicitor what to do next ?have you told your solicitor about the situation?

It depends how long you have been seperated if it is more than 2 years  she should sign, however if she refuses to sign, there is nothing you can do I am having the same thing, I have been told I have to wait 5 years and then I dont need a signature.
