The take up arm is doing as the reply suggested. However, again, I have rechecked all the timing and it still pulls the thread back through the needle. Also, when the takeup arm goes back down there is about an inch of thread hanging from the tentioner assembly,(which is new) and it stays that way reguardless of the set tention, and I have watched the thread go around the bobbin housing and be released back up to the top, and then when the needle goes back down again there is excess thread around the needle as it goes back through the material as well as the excess thread hanging from the tentioner.
I have used many machines and fixed many but this has me stumped :(
