  1. It might be more efficient to gassify large volumes of woodchips and convert the gas into fuel than to do it yourself. How are you going to refuel with wood chips?

There's more on alternative fuels at the Big Biofuels Blog.

  2. You are refering to a gasifier. Used on farm tractors. Apparently it worked for them. Us, I dont know.

  3. Well there are things you can do to help reduce the amount of harm you are causing the enviroment, you can do this by offsetting your carbon on websites such as; www.co2debt.com . On these sites you are able to prevent climate change by funding ethical reforestation projects. I personally found that www.co2debt.com was the best site for this because of their strong relationships with other non-profit organizations. After researching all of the alternative fuels i found that just offsetting your carbon is the best thing the average person can do.
