  1. tile it can not be damaged by water

  2. The opposite to whatever was there before and did not make it any further than it did.

  3. I would suggest Tile. I honestly do not think that Wood is the best choice because there will be a lot of water on the floor most of the time so it could harm the floors.

  4. tile will last longer in a bathroom environment considering the humidity, spills and such

  5. If you already have wood in your master bedroom, it might be nice to carry it into the bathroom area.  You will need to be more careful in this space, as others have already noted, because of spill and moisture issues.

A good alternative for easier maintenance are the new wood-looking porcelain tiles.  You can spot a black one in the Bathing Beauties Style File slide show on my blog:  http://jgkitchens.blogspot.com. There's another, also from Ragno USA Revisions, in an article I wrote for Glam.com.  Here's the link:

    Good luck with your project!

  6. i think u should go with tile

  7. Tile. It goes great with your bathroom color and woo cabinets. Wood would just be ugly. A nice cream colored will work or even yellow.

  8. Tile! wood would absorb water and become slippery. Choose a tile with a slightly bumpy surface to create traction.

  9. tile tile tile! because if you get water on wood then you could ruin it... soo... ceramic tile is best :)

  10. Alternate wood then tile wood then tile.

  11. wood will tend to rot, tile. oh and buy a door.

  12. Wood is best. The reason is this; most home buyers (women-married or living with) prefer hardwood as has a warmer feel and is very much in style and will be. tile is passe and trust me the tile you choose today will be out of fashion next year...yuck!

I'm a RE appraiser and have seen 10s of thousands of properties. I am talking from experience...besides the realtor will tell you that your house will sell for more! Not

But you should ulitmatly get what makes you happy not me or the market.

Im in calif so maybe I'm taking regionally. but I dont think so...

    Good luck

  13. Wood

  14. I would opt for tile.  If you are looking at ceramic tile, I would find a stone effect tile that has similar tones of beige/brown as your wood flooring.  This will make for an easier transition when your eye follows the floor line into the bathroom.  In addition, I would consider 12" x 12" tiles as opposed to the smaller Mosaic tile.  This will open your bathroom and give the impression of larger area.

I strongly advise that you do not use the wood flooring in your bathroom, as the moisture created and the occasional water spillage may cause the floors to warp after a short time.  Water is a natural enemy of wood flooring!!!!

    Good luck.

  15. wood looks nice but you might have to deal with warping if you spill

  16. ceramic tile...wood doesn't look nice in a bathroom....

  17. WOOD. you already have it in another room it looks like. continue the feel man. wood is totally natural totally zen .

  18. Tile! It won't get water damage as easily. You can always put down a cute teak wood bath mat if you really like the look of wood in your house.

  19. I would go with a look alike wood flooring,uh...shoot its sealed,scratch resistant,durable.

I've lost the proper name,my apologies,I hope someone will pick up where I've blanked off.

    Seems/Sounds very beautiful though...yea,good luck.

  24. Tile!! Or you can just watch HGTV for a while until you decide :D

  25. Go to your hardware store with that pic and ask them also check the dividers they have for both wood and tile and also you might consider a marble one too.  Sometimes they have special ledges for that very purpose.

  26. Tile!  wood floors wont hold up very well in the bathroom, too much moisture!
