i have tried everything i can think of and do to keep my dog in my backyard but he is a big 120lb. german shepherd and always finds a way to get out but my last result is to put cement on the bottom of my fence so he can't chew it because i also have his 4 pups and 2 of them ran out with him yesterday, thank god nothing happened.

so here is my question:do you know how i can do that myself in a way that is easy for me to succeed because i have never done cement and my handy man is on vacation and if not do you know any websites that show you step by step and all.

i really appreciate your help thanks!!!

  1. The electric fence is a very good idea and would be much the easiest, you could also use some 3 foot welded wire and dig about 2 feet of the grass back and staple the wire about 1 foot up on the bottom of the wood fence and bury the other 2 feet under the surface of the grass to stop him from digging.

  2. try putting a hot wire around the bottom of the fence.
