Woodpeckers are making small holes in my house.is the deterent paint additive any good to keep them out?

I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS USED THIS ADDITIVE AND IF IT ACTUALLY WORKS, OR IF THERE IS ANY OTHER SIMILAR ADDITIVE I CAN ADD TO THE PAINT BEFORE I REPAIR THE HOLES.THANK YOU

  1. This is not that usual of a problem. They don't do it for the sake of making a hole. Usually they do that to get at bugs of one kind or another. I would consult with a pest control company to see if there may be an infestation of some kind in your siding or what ever the woodpeckers are making holes in. Not heard of an additive to prevent woodpeckers, just for insects.
