The winner lead just near the line, and squeezed out any chance that the reeling in sixth trap had to win the race.
The two-year-old out of, Droopys Paloma, then bagged the prize money of the Grade A2 480 metres flat race on 10th November, 2012 at Newcastle.
Taking off from the orange gate, he saved ground on the wide end, and sped in for the wire from the second position, making the transition in 29.26 seconds.
His dominance over the final four lengths of the race had Woodys Aroma setting Fagans Rambler as the runner-up.
Taking off from the first trap tonight is, Blackhouse Lace, while racing in the black and white stripes of the sixth trap will be, Loskeran Dot.
