Woolworths service 20?

why is it at woolworths they are always muttering services over the loudspeak such as service 20, what do these services mean?

Hi ,

Service 20 means customer service needed . it can mean alot of things though such as

- if they say service 20 to the carpark it means go collect trolleys .- and if they say service 20 to registers it means we need more staff on checkouts or so and so go to checkouts to help .

service 30 means a telephone call . you might here a staff member say ' john service 30 line 1 ' , this means john has a phone call on line 1

service 60 means clean up . eg service 60 to isle 4 .
