Woop Woop Smokey to stamp the Grade A3 500 metres flat on 1st May at Nottingham
Competing in Grade A3 500 metres flat on Tuesday, 1st May are Uncle Vince, He Will Phanter, Stouke Rascal, Salacres Rebel, Woop Woop Smokey and Salacres Meako. It will be held over 500 metres at Nottingham. The prize money for the race is set
at £114.
The most interesting entry for the race is Woop Woop Smokey, Hondo Black’s three-year-old black son out of b***h, Smooth And Soft. He rolled into the new season on 3rd January in a Grade A3 500 metres flat at Nottingham. He reached the other end
of the wire in 31.30 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Black Tess, by ¾ of a length.
The 2/1 favourite of the, Ballymac Guerin, finished third behind the winner.
His second success of the season was in a Grade A3 500 metres flat on 24th January at Nottingham after he had raced across the wire in 31.24 seconds. Settling the closest behind the winner was the 5/4 favourite of the race, Highclere Sam, who
timed the distance 31.28.
Joining the winner and the runner up on the other end of the wire after racing for 31.44 seconds was Girlswannahavfun.
The three-year-old got the chance to bag the third victory of the new season on 24th February in a Grade A3 500 metres flat at Nottingham. Woop Woop Smokey made the trip to the other end of the wire in 31.17 seconds and led the runner up of the
race, Salacres Robbery, by a short head’s difference.
The 9/4 favourite of the race, Rushmoor Tony, settled third after racing for 31.39 seconds.
It was on 16th March that the fourth and till yet the last victory of the season surfaced in the form of a Grade A3 500 metres at Nottingham. Woop Woop Smokey timed the track distance in 31.13 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Uncle Vince,
by 4 ¼ lengths.
Settling third behind the winner was King Bolt completed the trip in 31.53 seconds.
He has kept his performance consistent during the last two attempts positioning third and then scoring second in the most recent start.
