chance. I got my chance against Newcastle through injuries. It's just the way it is."
He also added that the Capital One Cup was the perfect way to gain experience, as most managers opted to leave out their first-choice players for the tournament.
"For young players at a lot of top clubs the League Cup is where the managers embed them into the team, so I was delighted with that. But it would be wrong to do anything different than you would normally."
