Worcester Warriors and Newcastle Falcons play first draw game of 2011/12 Aviva Premiership - Rugby
The 2011/12 Aviva Premiership new entrants, Worcester Warriors, and last season’s survivors, Newcastle Falcons, shared points as both sides ended up drawing a match during the 2011/12 Aviva
Premiership’s eight round encounters.
Falcons will be disappointed with the results of the match as they enjoy a relatively better record in their previous outings in front of their home crowd. Falcons hosted Warriors at Kingston
Park, Newcastle on Friday, November 4.
The final scorecard read 16 – all at the end of full time, which has little impact on the rankings of both the teams on the competition table. Warriors and Falcons remained unchanged at the
11th and 12th positions with 12 and 7 points respectively, after their eight games in the season.

territory possession as they were able to create more spaces to move the ball.
Warriors sent their scrum half, Shaun Perry, to score the first try of the game in the 27th minute of the game. Carlisle followed with his conversion to take the scorecard reading
13 – 6. Falcons were able to turn over the ball and were controlled the game but they failed to score as both sides left the field with scorecard reading the same at the end of the first half.
Newcastle Falcons were trailing by 7 points and started the second half strongly as they dominate both ball and territory possession. Falcons were first to score the point in the second half,
courtesy of their fly half Gopperth’s 47th minute penalty.
Both teams fail to score any both in next quarter of the game. Warriors extended their lead to seven points courtesy of Andy Goode’s 68th minute penalty. In reply Falcons re established
their control over the game as they control the ball possession and started to gain territory.
