On Friday, Worcestershire secured a third place on the points table by beating Glamorgan in the ongoing Friends Life T20 tournament, at County Ground, New Road, Worcester.

Worcestershire after losing their two wickets with only 11 runs on the board, made a sensational resurgence as middle-order batsmen, PJ Hughes and JG Cameron built a strong partnership to neutralize the bowling attack.
It was imperative for the two batsmen to stay on the wicket for as long as possible as they knew that the bulk of the scoring had to be done by them in order for their team to amass a heavy total on the board.
Finally with 86 runs on the board, RDB Croft remorselessly grabbed the wicket of Cameron, who departed after hammering an innings of 31 runs.
Hughes was then joined by GM Andrew as the two kept pace in their innings and took the score to 147 runs, after which it was time for Andrew to take his leave as he lost his wicket on a score of 15 runs.
The hosts ended their innings after piling 164 runs, with Hughes unbeaten on a total of 87 runs.

However, the fielding side kept pressure on the batsmen, which consequently increased the asking rate slowly but steadily.
In the end, the side could muster only 145 runs for the loss of six wickets, with SJ Walters as the highest scorer with an unbeaten innings of 40 runs.
