Gatting was the next man to be dismissed in the innings. He also made most of the excellent batting conditions, collecting 122 runs for his side. The stylish opener hammered 14 fours and 4 massive sixes in his thunderous knock.

The Worcestershire bowlers had a miserable day in the field, but Jack Shantry enjoyed some success, capturing 2 wickets in the match.
The visitors were given a magnificent start by their opener Ali, who collected 158 runs at the top of the order. He lacked support from the other end though, as none other batsman even managed to score in the forties.
