Word Processing: Spacing. How do I get it to fit the page. Like in a book?

Instead of normal spacing, I want it to add spacing so it fits nicely between one side and the other. It's for a newspaper type document.

They use it in books, if that helps.

  1. I think what you're looking for is called "justified" spacing.  In Microsoft Word it's under Format | Paragraph |Alignment.  Choose Justified.

    for a newspaper or newsletter layout, you can get fancier by selecting columns and arranging the spacing between them.

  3. I think its called JUSTIFY. No pun intended :-).

    You can find it grouped with align left, center,align right,justify.
