Word document won't open please help...?

Question

I am not able to open a word document by clicking on it. I am able to open Word then open the document. When I click on the icon for the document explorer.exe crashes. I have reinstalled Office to no avail. Please help.

the only thing i can think of is that for some reason your computer isnt set to open the word document through microsoft word. Try right clicking it and click on open with and click on microsoft word...if it still crashes i would recommend calling the company or getting a technician for a more detailed answer
