Word parental at bottom of screen

Question

We are making the console smaller to fit in our entertainmet center. When we took it apart it worked fine. Now that the cabinet is smaller and it is back together the tv only has a black screen and the word parental at the bottom. I have tried to use the setup to clear the parental controls but nothing works. there is just a blue block where the words would be for setup. thanks Mike
