  1. The planned number of schools = P.

The actual number of schools = A.

    A is 11 less than P.

The total number of books (3050) can be divided equally by both P and A.

So 3050 must be exactly divisible by two numbers which have a difference of 11.

    3050 is exactly divisible by the following numbers: 610, 305, 61, 50, 10, 5.

The only two of these numbers with a difference of 11 are 61 and 50.

    So A = 50.

So each school gets 3050/50 = 61 books at the presentation.
