what is the word used for someone who likes to always take the credit for doing something when they didn't do it to begin with.

  2. I was going to suggest usurper, but then saw that I was beaten to the punch.

    I will therefor merely advance:

    - impostor

    - impersonator (Talented Mr. Ripley for instance?)

    - charlatan

    - phony

    - fake

    - hypocrite
