Word to describe my feelings?

Question

I need a word or words to decribe my feeling right now, it is for a report.

The word needs to describe this situation: I lost a good chance to do something, but I am glad I made it there at least.

So something combining depression of not taking a chance (or gaining it), but the proud feeling of making it somewhere most people don't get to.
