Wording for Marriage Announcement Card ?

Question

We cant afford any real ceremony because of financial & family issues, so we're planning to have courthouse wedding without any guests. But we're going to send cards to some of relatives and friends who live in other states/countries. What would the appropriate wording would be? Because I don't want people to think we eloped and now we're demanding gifts. This is the card that I would use:

Also, this is the dress that I'm going to wear for getting the marriage license at the courthouse:

My hair is shoulder length, should I just have a pony tail or down with a flower hair pin? Or that would be too much flowers because of the dress?

Very nice wedding announcement.   Awfully pricey for someone with no money though.  ($70 for 25 cards?).  Just use the same wording that is on the card.

That dress is beautiful!  I would wear your hair either down (like, get a great blow-out and round-brush the ends) or in a fancy ponytail.  I think maybe the flowers on the dress are enough, without having to add one to your hair (unless it was really small).  

I like those shoes- cute!  Or you could go for a kitten-heel sandal, which I think would go well with that dress.

As for the announcement- I like the one you've picked out, but I've also seen a really cute style that has a picture of the  couple with the heading, "Just Married!"  Then below that, "John and Carrie are pleased to announce their union. August 1st, 2008, in New York."  Or something along those lines..........

I would personally wear your hair down - a subtle floral hairpin would be OK, or a white (or colorful) headband.
