Wordpress and downloadable PDF

Hi,

I want to upload a PDF or give a link to a PDF file that people can download from my wordpress website. ow do I do that?

First type the internet address where your pdf is

Then before the address type as

Answerer No. 2 has probably given you the best answer. As WordPress is pretty basic (not too bad but made easy so that the majority of people who are not web design savvy can use) to add the pdf file into your post (or page) click on the Add Media button at the top right of your post - looks like a splodge or big asterisk/black star, then when the side pane opens where you browse for the file, just put in the name of the file to upload or, if it were to be another url address, put that in the appropriate place.

When you are writing a post you add pdf file on it...

on  the upper right side you , there is an icon next  Visual | HTML tab.. click click that icon named Add Media(when you hover your theres a baloon title add media).. it just like adding image on your post... then upload the pdf file from you computer... then insert in your post...
