Wordpress sidebar?

how do i add a section to my sidebar in wordpress with my own links?

Lloyd pointed out a good Worpress tutorial on how to use the text link widget.

I'd like to point out that you can do the same thing if you host Wordpress somewhere else (having installed wordpress.org with your own web hosting).  

Also, if you are just looking to add links, you might want to use the blogroll.  To use it:

-log in to your admin section

-click the blogroll tab

-click add links

-add the site, name, description, and any tags if you want
