Words Director of Peoples actions or Visa Versa?

    I'm so confused.  (And tired.)

    But, basically, if you're trying to find out if these words are correct or whatever -- you CAN use "peoples" instead of people.  A hundred or so years ago, "peoples" was actually the correct way of saying things, but its cycled out of the language.

    And if you hear someone saying "vice-a verse-a," then you're listening to someone who doesn't know how to pronounce the word "vice."  It should be one syllable.  You don't hear people saying "Vice-a President," now, do you?  I had a principal who insisted on saying it so that vice had two syllables, and I think he just liked the way it felt in his mouth.  (Plus, he was an idiot.)
