1. aww congratulations!! :)

I am still 2 weeks away from labor but I can tell you what has helped me to stay calm ...

You will do great! its the most natural thing in the world and while you are laying there in labor ... or C-Section just think that there are millions of women doing the same thing all over the world ... you are not alone! and just think you will be able to hold your little baby!

You will finally meet him/her and see what they look like ...

You are sooo lucky to have the opportunity to bring a new life into the world ... enjoy being a momma

    congratulations!!!

  2. just relax try a nice bubble bath and i know its hard but put you feet up and wait now i have been induced twice and both times were different so its a little worse because you have the big pains right away but you will cope and you have a gorgeous baby to look forward at the end.good luck

    xo

  3. I was induced at 40 weeks. My advice is get plenty of rest if you need a sleeping pill they will give you one. I was too excited to go sleep so they gave me one. Also please for love of God go as long as you can to get the epidural because I got mine too early and it wore off. Inducing can be more painful then naturally going into labor.

  4. Aww! you will be just fine. Just keep focusing on the end result and know that it will be over so soon and you finally get to meet your little miracle. Then the real fun begins! I'm still waiting on labor to come knocking on my door but still no luck! Congratulations and everything will be great!

  5. Good luck Hon! You'll pull through like a champ! Don't stress! And remember that the end result is worth it. You will be holding your baby girl soon and I'm jealous. I still have to cook mine for another 5 months or so before I get to meet mine. :)

  6. I had to be induced bc of high blood pressure with my first child. I was a nervous wreck and didn't sleep at all that night. I had been in the hospital for a week and was induced 3 weeks early. But, as soon as my precious baby boy was born (via c-section) and I saw him and got to hold him for the first time, all the nerves and anxiety and the pain went away. It's scary now, but in the end it is sooo worth every minute of it. Good Luck and CONGRATS!!!

    Just breathe!!!!

  7. Don't freak. You stay calm and baby will stay calm. Inductions not so bad I'm like the only person I know who hasn't been. But my two sister in laws and a friend of mine all have and it didn't seem any different than my natural labor. If any thing it just went faster. Your gonna do great. Good Luck

  8. first thing, i just want to say Im very happy and excited for you and good luck and congrats! :D Just think of how amazing its going to be to hold that presious little baby in your arms tomorrow night :). Its going to be scary, but im sure, absoutly amazing and one of the specialist times in your life. Your so lucky, I cant wait till I go into labor lol.

  9. Hey Kristen, Its Deidre (myspace)

Just relax! First of all, worrying will not reduce your pain. It will only raise your blood preassure which is bad for Andelyn. I was induced on the 4th at 38 weeks and I'm sitting here typing to you with the most beautiful baby girl in my arms (Sydney Danielle--check out her pictures on my page if you haven't already!) Don't we look happy! So I got through it and so will you. Like I said, it will be the best day of your life although the most tiresome also. There was pain and I had to have a c-section but honestly and coincidently I've been trying to remember the pain lately and I just can't. I forgot all about it when I got my Sydney. and the c-section wasn't so bad, really. Pain is temporary but you'll have your beautiful daughter always. Try to remember that. It helped me until the contractions got really bad. I got through it and so will you and Andelyn will be perfect. So get some sleep and put on your game face. You can't turn back now so put on a stiff upper lip and face that labor head on. Now I took pain relief. all they would give me as soon as they would give it. But whether you choose to do that or not, I know you can handle it. Women were made to. If we can all do it, you can too! One piece of advice: if you do have a c-section, get up and walk around asap. it hurts like h**l the first few times but afterwards you feel so much better. Let me know how it goes when you get back from the hospital.

Oh and please bring a comfortable robe and gown. I was at the hospital 5 days and never did figure out how to put that d**n gown on right!

"A woman is like a teabag, you never know how strong she is until you put her in hot water"

  10. Okay, relax, take some deep breaths, you'll be fine. I had my fourth pregnancy induced because baby was getting so large. Tip- if not dilating fast enough and you are tired enough have the nurse position your bed almost to a standing position ( not enough to fall out) the pull of gravity will help speed things up. We were not meant to give birth flat on our backs, its easier for the doctor, but not for us.

Or, walk around as much as you can.

  11. I was in the exact same position, I was supposed to be induced on July 30th and I went into labor on the 29th...yes it is scary and it will hurt, VERY BADLY, but it will be over pretty quick, and it is worth it. GOOD LUCK and CONGRADULATIONS.

  12. you are going to do GREAT!!!!!!!!!! i can't wait to see pictures!! you just have to keep telling yourself youv'e waited almost 10 months for this. and it's all worth the wait!! good luck girl!!

  13. good luck congrats and just relax

just know everything u are going to go through are for a wonderful reason the moment u see ur beautiful daughters face and hear her very first cry will be the best moment of your life.

Dont stress its a good things shes going to be here soon.

  14. HEEEY! Congrats on being so close to finally holding that baby girl of yours!!!!! Words of encouragement...ITS ALMOST OVER!!! lol. You will have your beautiful baby girl in your arms in a short time :) Just picture what shes going to look like, and get her take home outfit together and then just sit in the nursery and look around...pretty soon, the little person who you created it for will be there to enjoy it!!!

Congrats!! Let me know how it goes!! I'll be having mine 1 week later ;) Good Luck! I'm sure everything will be great!
