Words to know when going on a tour to iraq?

my husbands squad leader told my husband that itll be useful if they know some words the iraqis were speaking cause it could save their skins(his words not mine). i was just wondering if anyone knew any good websites with audio or words that would be useful to my husband while he is in iraq

  1. Tell him to say Marhaba or Salam to all the people who are smiling.  And Ali babba means bad guy/terrorist/actual theif.  And if the Iraqi Army starts saying Fiki Fiki around him and smiling tell him to run like h**l cause they want to "get to know him better."  Haha.


  2. The military can inform him of these words, and he will learn them PDQ when he gets there. But  if you want to spend the money try Rosette Stone

  3. Don't spend the money on Rossetta Stone, he'll get that for free when he is over there.  Just type in basic Arabic phrases or something like that in google and you'll get plenty of places.
