As i was kinda in a rush to get to school i shoved on my contact lenses without looking inside of them to see for any stuff. My right eye was perfect and my left eye kept feelinf a little weird... like i could feel it when i was blinking. Anyways i came back from school(6hours past), i went upstairs to take off my left contact lense and see whaat was bothering it. I looked and there was a little crack in the middle of it about 0.2cm. Then after touching it alittle it broke into 2 pieces. Now my left eye kinda hurts but doesnt hurt that much. Its kinda like i can feel my left eye blinking. My eye also is kinda red.

Sooo is it anything serious? What should i do? Get some rest?

  1. In my opinion ur eye must have mild corneal aberration.you should go to any anterior segment Doctor who can observe ur cornea by slit lamp,do some  staining and then can ascertian you whether u have to worry or not.May be u dont have any problem but u should b sure for it since eyes are  one of the most important part of our Body.

  2. The crack in the contact has irritated the eye.  It rubbed with every blink.  Use some eye drops, such as Systane.  Dont wear your contacts for a day or two and you will be fine.  You may have a superficial scratch on your cornea.  That is what you are feeling when you blink.  I know you were in a rush, but this does show that you need to check your contacts closely before putting them in your eyes.  Lesson learned, and you will be fine.  Take care:)
