Woried about the Leafs?

If Sundin does not come back, then our next highest scorer is Antropov. I don't know about you but a franchise like Toronto should not have Antropov as their star player. What will the Leafs do?

It looks like  Nikolai Kulemin is coming this season and im sure hagman can have more points then antropov and then we have Blake... the leafs are not going to be a good team this year i hope you understand that. you question answers why we are not going tobe a good team becuase we got no O! BUT  think our D is one of the best in the league... Kubina Kaberle Schenn Coliacavo and mccabe can all are higher then avrage Defencemen. plus toskala so maybe our D can keep us in there.

The biggest change the Leafs have to make is between their ears. They have to develop an attitude of winning. It will take time. Just be patient.

I'm not a Leafs fan but their fanbase deserves a better team than what they have had. Don't understand why you remain loyal to mgt that keeps disappointing you though.

I'm not as worried about the Leafs as I used to be.  It appears that this time they finally realized there's no such thing as a quick fix and are beginning the slow, painful process of rebuilding.

The leafs need to rebuild and that means being bad for a few years.  I'd be more worried if the were still top chasing free agents.

The rebuilding process will be quicker if the can be real bad for a couple of years and draft better.  The question is will Leaf fans tolerate a team in the bottom 5-6 teams for a couple of years.

Nothing they wont do nothing at all like always cuz they don't care as long as games till keep selling out and they make their money they are happy with that, cuz stupid leafs fans like me come to be happy with the half a s s job they do don't expect much from them but we still support them like we are a bunch of idiots and guess what we are. Because we don't demand better from them.

Geez, I'm kinda worried too.

I hope Sundin doesn't come back. He's scores a lot for himself but he's horrible in the room. The team gets split into cliques and Sundin is the cause of this. I know. I was there for 2 seasons.

Niky is useless. They've got to get rid of him. He thinks way too much of himself.

I hope Fletch has something up his sleeve or Toronto will be bottom feeding again this year.

Nope !!! Not worried at all. We will finish last and draft Tavares. Then we will build a real team around him with entirely new management.

However, if some of these guys do like they did last year and start thinking they have a chance at making the playoffs or something and start to win a few games. Then, I'll worry.

As long as Antropony is 2/3 of our star line, no problem. Let the re-building begin.

Why be worried? I want the leafs to suck next year... how hard is it to do that! Leafs need to rebuild not try to make the playoffs next year!

Simple. Focus on defense for once. Cliff Fletcher has done a good job improving our defense by acquiring Jeff Finger, Jonas Frogren, and drafting Luke Schenn. The hiring of Ron Wilson as coach will also help in this department. He is notoriously defensive-minded. While our offense may not be great on paper, if our defense can do a better job of keeping the puck out of the net we will fare better this season.
