Work, living and lifestyle in Ireland...advice?

I have 8 months off from work and I'm thinking of moving to Ireland...can anyone advise me on where to go, what work I can do or where I can find work advertised and whats an average wage...will I need a visa (im english)?

  1. hi,

    no visa required to work here.

    As far as work, jobs.ie is a good bet.

    Otherwise there is a minimum wage of 7ish Euro per hour.

    Average industrial wage is 33K€ is think.

    Cost of living is quite high around here, check accomodation on Daft.ie


  2. you wont need a visa, There's work, depending on what you want to do. Dublin is the most expensive place to live.

    or the government agency for employment is called fas.
