Hi next week i will be starting my work experience in the graphics department and i am really unsure about what to wear. I received a letter stating that my dress code should be smart casual and have looked on the internet but i am not sure if it is appropriate to that working environment. I would phone them but i do not want to sound incompetent. Any advise greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

  1. loin cloth

  2. Play it safe the first day.  Wear a button down (with a tie or buttoned all the way up) tucked in and some nice slacks.  Check out what everyone else is wearing.  I would never wear jeans to work, and always wear a polo/button down because they have collars.

    Hope this helps!

  3. for smart i mean like you know what  your doing and casual like you you could be comfortable in doing things. for a guy i think like khaki long pants and a polo looking shirt. but i think i would still call them

  4. I would say slacks and a button down shirt.
