Work at Mcdonalds??

I'm 13 and I heard you can work at McDonalds when your 14. Do you think they would hire a 13 year old? I'm almost 14 and I'm going to be a Freshman so I basically am 14.

and also how much does it pay?

No, you have to be at least 15, but you really should wait until you are 16 because there are a lot of things you cannot do. You cannot cook the fries (You have to be 16), you cannot go into the walk-in fridge or freezer (Slip and fall hazard). Try to find a full-time baby-sitting job for the summer (School-aged kids) and during the school year you can babysit maybe after school and opn weekends.

I'm pretty sure the minimum age is 15 years old for a job on restricted hours and pay. You have to be 16,18, or even 21 for most decent jobs nowadays anyway.

Why would you want a job at your age? That just means responsibility... h**l, you are still a baby and under your parents care. Trust me, do not try and rush things... there will be plenty of time for working... enjoy being a kid!

I dont think you can work at McDonalds that young. Why don't you do some babysitting job or help people clean up for some money for now. Wait about two years before working. Just work random jobs for money for now.

No they won't. A small business might though. You'll need to be 14 and have a work permit (if they allow it, last i checked you had to be 15) You'll be paid minimum wage and only be able to work between certain times and under a certain amount of hours.

Actually you CAN work at Mcdonalds...

These ppl oviously dont know it...

The thing is that you wont be doing anything that puts you at risk of injury like lets say: lifting a heave case, in kitchen using the grill, fryers... so you are going to be basically taking orders and thats it... that a GOOD thing for you...

As for pay... well your only 14 so dont expect any place to pay you 8+...
