  1. A deposition is when you goo through a series of questions about your injury with your attorney, sometimes the other sides too, and it is all recorded, to be entered with all your paperwork for your settlement. The settlement process is a long process. First your doctor must declare you permanent and stationary, meaning no further treatment is going to make you better. Then you will be sent to another doctor to rate your disability so they can judge how much of a loss you've received in the job market. There are mountains of reports, hearings, etc. before it gets anywhere near a settlement stage. If you are well enough to return to work it moves much faster. If you have to be retrained for a different type of work, then  you will have to go through that prior to the settlement hearing. It's the very last thing, and it can take quite some time. Best to ask your attorney what his estimate is, as he will be familiar with your injuries and can give you an approximate time line.

  2. The insurance co. calls for a deposition when something is in question. What they do is ask you about your injury how has it

affected you in your day to day living and a bunch of other stuff that's related to your injury.Remember when they ask you anything about your injury you tell them how you feel on your

worst day. Every day is your worst day when somebody asks you. Talk to your lawyer before going in he needs to give a heads up on what's going to happen

Settlements like this take time. You can't rush this Sit back and they will let you know when they are ready.

. Talk to your lawyer he knows Moore about how long it will take
