  1. compile a nice CV for yourself, with a cover letter stating how you are looking for work experience, and get it out to places you'd like to work at!  try and try again is a good strategy, one is the first thing that springs to mind is somewhere like the Barbican, or smaller independent businesses. asking family and friends is a good idea, or if you're at school or college you can probably get some help from there (or through an organisation like Trident - i think that's the name of the one i went through)

    -hope that helps, good luck!

  2. if you just look around im sure youl find somewere

i new i wanted to do childcare so i just randomly picked one and it wos sucessful so it proves you can just choose it randomly

if not if there is a place u like eg a resturant or something then ask them if u can do urs there

be careful though places get taken up quick cos normally most schools go on work expo at the same time

    good luck and have fun

mine wos the best time ever hope urs is too :) x

  3. open the yellow pages and phone up what catches your eye! I done this, i wanted to go to a vets, so i phoned then up from the yellow pages and to my suprisethey said yes.

just phone where you would like to go, then answer polityand say " hello, is this 'insert name' "

after reply ask "i am wondering if you do work experience" if yes then discuss date and details. If no, politly ay bye and try and try again!

wel done on looking already! alot of people leave it till the month before!
