Work experience for college applications ?

Does work experience have any effect on the college applications? The school im applying to is California Berkeley, just for reference.

Absolutely.  Definitely include your work experience if you have any.  It will look positive on your application that you showed that maturity to handle a job, and it indicates your commitment level if you've been able to keep the job for a significant length of time.  However, if you don't have work experience, no college admissions officer would hold that against you.  Like anything on the application, the more information you can provide, the better the application.  No one specific item is necessary.  It's the overall application that results in the decision.

    Especially Berkeley, you have to let them admission know that you do extra activities and well rounded person..

    It shows that you are a social person..
