Work experience in Swindon?

I'm looking for a week's work experience in Swindon. Any ideas or hints of where to go?

Depends what sort of work experience you want. Your school will be able to help as they approach companies for potential placements.

To start off with it would be a good idea to think about what you want to do when you leave school. If you have decided this then approach businesses etc that relate to that.

Since you have not been more specific in your question by giving us that information, don't think we can help you too much.

I work as a retinal photographer for the NHS and we have had work experience students helping out in our department in the past and I'm sure most employers welcome students.

Added: ....What is important to you?...do you want to be creative...(computers or photography tends to suggest some sort of media interest, so maybe contact your local newspaper)......or do you want to help people...(try approaching your local hospital....I can recommend the Diabetic centre if they have one, as there are lots of different specialities dealing with this condition so you would see something different everyday and you may find it interesting).

Sorry if this isn't helpful but because I don't know you it's difficult to guess what you would enjoy doing...but I hope whatever you choose that it goes well.
