Question:

Work performance evaluation?

I had my work performance evaluation today. It was about ten categories, Attendance, works well with coworkers, works well with customers, follows directions, speed and quality of work, etc. I don't remember all of them but you get the point. And there were three ratings, less than satisfactory, satisfactory, and better than satisfactory. I got all satisfactory except for two, attendance and works well with coworkers, where I got the better than satisfactory, other than that it was just the middle one, satisfactory. Is that a bad sign neccessarily.

  1. No, your evaluation was a good evaluation and it sounds like a fair assessment.  If you were doing poorly they would have given you unsatisfactory - which you didn't get.  Your review says you are performing well and you excel in attendance & working with your co-workers.  When you hear it that way doesn't it sound better, but that's what your ratings mean.  Very rarely in any company would anyone ever get an better than satisfactory, and alot of employers won't even give that because no matter how well you do they still think you can always perform better.  So be happy w/your review they have noticed certain areas you excel in.
