Work permit question?

I filed the AOS package earlier this year. On April 22, 2008 I had the biometrics. I know that the Work Permit, I-130, etc is usually issued between 30 and 90 days after the petition is filed with USCIS. However, I still have not received it. Anyone can tell me why I may have not received it yet? Does it take longer than this time period? Has anyone had similar experience? Thank you!

Did you file Form I-765? This is the application for work authorization.

If you filed Form I-765 and it as been more than 90 days and you have yet to receive your EAD (Employment Authorization Document) then simply make an INFOpass appointment at your local USCIS office and make an interim EAD request.

It is possible to obtain an interim EAD which will be valid for 12 months or until your actual EAD arrives once the I-765 as been pending for 90 days or more.
