Work permits in michigan, question!?

I know I need a work permit to work here but I don't quite understand where to obtain one seeing as I'm not in school right now.

Also, do I need to know the wage of the job im applying for and so fourth? Whats the point in that? I'm going to apply to multiple places!

This website might help. There is a link to permits on the site an rules for employment based upon age. If the school has to sign, administrative offices are usually open part of the summer.

Some businesses use a generic form for their employment questionaire. I suggest asking your parent/guardian what to place in the box. Alternately, you can ask the employer.  Minimum wage information is available on the right hand (green) column.

Yes, you should submit multiple applications to various employers (make sure the business type is on the list)
